“We met Steve and Catharine Inniss at the Cottage Life Show. We simply walked up to Steve and started chatting. We already owned a boat access cottage in Muskoka, but were considering making a move to a larger, road access cottage on a bigger lake. We liked the idea of driving up to our door, and with our kids getter older, we needed more room for the friends who always seemed to be accompanying them in large numbers!
We liked Steve right away. He was pleasant, relaxed and extremely knowledgable. He followed up with us in a very timely fashion, when he had some interesting properties in his sights. We ended up by purchasing a beautiful cottage on Lake Joseph that summer.
From start to finish, the process was streamlined and enjoyable. The first time we went out to look at cottages, my daughter and I drove up from Toronto, and were taken on a “road trip” to have a look at some properties that met our requirements. There was a picnic lunch involved, including the most delicious cookies we’d ever had, made by Catharine for the occasion :)
